A half day of private mediation costs less than a single hour of contested legal proceedings. Research from Australia found that more than half of separated families who reached the family court system spent over $100,000 in legal costs, with proceedings lasting two to three years for nearly a third of families. The Separation Ready programme, at $2,200 per person, is a fraction of that cost and a complete preparation pathway. All mediation packages include an aftercare session eight weeks after agreement as standard.

All fees are inclusive of GST. An invoice is issued prior to each session and payment is required before the session date. Bank transfer accepted.

The Separation Ready programme can be paid in two payments of $1,100, the first before Session 1 and the second before Session 4. Please ask about this at your free Zoom call.

From 1 July 2025, FDR through Fairway Resolution is fully funded by the Ministry of Justice, free for all eligible families. Private FDR is available through this practice for those who prefer to choose their own mediator and timing.
